KIT AND WILLY'S GUIDE TO ART

THIS BOOK WILL DELIGHT CHILDREN AND PARENTS, AND TEACH BOTH A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ART.....

Kit, a COWBOY-ARTIST-DETECTIVE who likes art and DOGS (particularly ones that look like sausages) and Willy, a LONG DOG (but not too long) who is extraordinarily HANDSOME, tell us what they're up to in this brilliantly witty new book by "writer, illustrator and person" Zebedee Helm. Kit, we should add, hates KALE.

Kit explains in the Introduction:

"This week we went to an art gallery to investigate ART. If you want to understand art, you have to ask QUESTIONS. Grown-ups always give you answers as long as you ask POLITELY."

Children LOVE Kit and Willy, but so will their parents, as they investigate the essentials of IMPRESSIONISM, CUBISM, SURREALISM, POP ART, CONCEPTUAL ART and STREET ART, to name a few, finishing up with BUTTERFLY PRINTS – "one of the most popular art movements in the whole wide world."

Printed on lovely thick matt art paper, and with a retro jacket and hard cover, this book makes a lovely gift for any boy or girl who loves ART, or laughing at art, or CHEEKY DOGS, or both. It will provide hours of fun, and will be something to go back to again and again.

OR, if you're an adult reading this, you COULD buy it for yourself, a secret self-treat.

Artist and author: Zebedee Helm is a brilliant writer, illustrator and wit. He has created work for Hermes, The Row, AirBnB, W magazine, House and Garden, the Financial Times and Art Review, as well as murals for the likes of Fortnum and Mason.

In 2017 he was official artist for the All England Lawn Tennis Club (a.k.a Wimbledon). Zebedee is the author of The Middle Class ABC, and lives in Gloucestershire. He has a very naughty, handsome Jack Russell called Bentley.
